Review of ‘Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle’ – “The Bible of Fat Loss” since Early 2000’s
by Fred Simpleton Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is the first comprehensive book on weight loss, was originally released in 2003. It is deservingly called ‘The Bible of Fat loss’, as is not only the oldest among authority weight loss books, it also stood the test of time and still continues to be the top best-seller in the fat lossmarket.Since its release ‘Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle’ has helped people from over 140 countries to lose anything from a few pounds to 253 pounds! The book is referred to by many experts and ordinary people likewise as being honest, science-based and highly effective and, in my humble opinion, it rightfully deserves this reputation. |

After you have gone through tons of fad diets and false promises of fast weight loss, you chuck in ‘quick-fix’ methods, as you realise they bring you nothing but trouble and severe side-effects for your health. At this point you know that the only way to achieve permanent weight loss without damaging your health is a SLOW one through proper nutrition, regular exercise and a change in lifestyle. And at this stage you can truly appreciate the value and make the full use of a book like ‘Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle’.
The Author of the book, Tom Venuto, is a certified personal trainer and a truly natural bodybuilder, who has never taken any steroids or body-enhancing pills in his life, yet he’s got himself an incredible body and six-pack you’ve got to see to belief that something like this is possible. As Tom says, he was never too plump and although he has won numerous bodybuilding competitions, he always had to struggle with his stomach fat. And If you look at his photos, you can’t help noticing that he has more than succeeded in that.
To arrive at his ‘Weight Loss Bible’, Tom studied the best practices of the top bodybuilders and fitness models around the world for over 20 years. And although you may want to be neither a bodybuilder, nor a model, doesn’t it make perfect sense to learn from people who demonstrate the miracle of achieving a perfectly lean figure with their own bodies?! It does to us, and it did to Tom, and that’s how he came up with the ‘Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle’.
And although the book was created by bodybuilder, it’s was NOT created for bodybuilders, but for EVERYBODY who cares about their health and the way they look. In fact, this book could easily be titled as ‘What Every Person Can Learn From The Best Bodybuilders And Fitness Models On Fat Burning’.
Now the book itself is not a ‘quick-fix’ fat burning technique, and if you are after ‘quick-fix’ fad diets, then this book is not for you. It’s a rather comprehensive volume with over 300 pages of extremely valuable information not just on ‘how to do it’, but ‘how it works and why you should do it’.
The nutrition plans are presented in stages from the very beginner level to the most advanced, and thus are suitable for everybody. If you are not a bodybuilder and just need to lose weight, you only need the first phase. However, if you are a bodybuilder or a fitness model and planning to participate in a bodybuilding contest or fitness competition, then you will need to go through phases 2 and 3 of the course as well.
The primary focus of this book is on nutrition, because the right nutrition program is believed to be the heart of any effective fat burning, and if you consume more calories than you burn, no exercise or fitness program (regardless of how effective it may be) will help you to lose weight and burn that extra fat.
The chapter on nutrition includes meal plan template, which allows to automatically create your meal plans for weeks by entering the foods from the recommended food list. You also get a list of sample menus for ideas. You will learn everything you need to know about calories, carbohydrates, protein and fat, as well as on the low carbohydrate and high protein diets. The book will also give you an insider look at fat burning foods, and you will find out what foods to eat and when to eat them.
Further on, ‘Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle’ provides you with elaborated exercise plans from the best bodybuilders and fitness models, which you can use straight away. There are two major components of the workout program that includes weight training and cardiovascular exercises. The book will tell you what equipment you need to have at home or in gym in order to follow the proposed workouts. However, if you are already using a training program or prefer your own workouts, you can do so easily, as the nutrition principles of the book work with ANY workout program.
The next crucial part of the book is how to customize the weight loss program for you taking into account your unique metabolism (the body ability to process foods). For example, if you are allergic to gluten or lactose, then you will need to create your own unique diet plans that are best suited for you. The essential premise here is that there is no universal nutrition plan that suits everybody – the right diet plan must be person-specific!
The unique feature of ‘Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle’ is that on top of the nutrition plan and exercise program, it also gives you mental training program, which no other book that we know of offers. The motivation psychology within the mental training program teaches you how to overcome mental blocks preventing you from successful fat burning, which is especially valuable when your slips from the schedule become regular and frequent.
In summary, Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is not a quick fix program. In fact, many thousands people who use it say that the very reason they bought it is because the book honestly admits that successful fat burning is not a snap-your-fingers kind of thing. Fat burning is a hard work, but the awesome rewards of having a slim, perfectly fit body and greatly improved health are more than worth it!
